Anna Llewellyn

Anna Marie Hensley Llewellyn, of Ashland, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, in Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Llewellyn was born Oct. 25, 1936, in Catlettsburg, the daughter of the late Samuel P. and Georgene Friley Hensley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Thomas Carlton Llewellyn III. Anna was a homemaker who lovingly took care of her family, and she was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel P. Hensley; and sisters, Mabel Small, Mary Moore and Lillian Anders.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Llewellyn IV (Lois) of Ashland; daughters, Nancy C. Llewellyn and Helen Augustine, both of Ashland; brother, Gene Edward Hensley (Mary) of Greenup; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Anna lived with courage and strength until her death. Her caring ways will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A graveside service for Mrs. Llewellyn will be at 11 a.m. Monday Aug. 27, 2012, in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
Neal Funeral Home in Catlettsburg is in charge of arrangements.
