Audrey Lorraine Rose, 73, of Ashland, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, in King's Daughters' Medical Center in Ashland.
She was born Feb. 16, 1939, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Karl Heinz and Beatrice Pickeral Atchison. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Joe Rose; four brothers; and a sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Victoria Lynn Moore and her husband, Terry, of Southside, Tenn., and Terri Robbin Franklin and her husband, Clyde, of Ashland; three sons, Donald Joe Rose Jr. of Ashland, Robert Edward Rose and his wife, Susan, of Louisville and James Lee Rose of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Darlene Mulvaney of Milton, Del.; two brothers, Donald Penn and Howard "Squeakie" Penn, both of Maryland; nine grandchildren, Terry Moore Jr., Kimberly Moore Potts, David Robert Rose, Lauren Rose Brown, Grae Rose, Keegan Rose, Levi Franklin, Stephen Franklin and Bobbi Jo Franklin; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland by the Rev. Mike Rice. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
