Brian Allen "Buzz B." Bayes, age 40, of Ashland, Ky., died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at his residence.
He was born June 7, 1970, in Huntington, W.Va.
Brian was a self-employed landscaper and had worked in fiber optic communications. He was a National Guard veteran.
Surviving are his mother, Carol Bayes Fugate of Ashland; his grandparents who raised him, John Arlie and Flossie McGranahan Bayes; a brother, Mitchell (Kelly) Bayes of Virginia Beach, Va.; and two sisters, Windy McGinnis of Columbus, Ohio, and Cindy Kilgore of Ashland.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Dave McGranahan. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
Friends may call at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
