Connor Mays

Connor Carl Mays, 4-day-old son of Gregory Allen Mays and Aleata Ann Ward, both of Ashland, died March 3, 2012, in Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was born Feb. 28, 2012, in Cincinnati.

In addition to his parents, Connor is survived by his brother, Lucas Allen Mays; his paternal grandparents, Tammy J. and Timothy Darrell Simpson of Ashland; his maternal grandparents, Crystal and David Gale of Ocala, Fla.; his great-grandparents, Ralph and Stella Young of Ashland; uncles Danny and Larry Ward of Ashland; aunts Destiny Lagrois of Ashland, Danielle Carey of Ocala and Tiffany Mays of Ashland; a great-aunt, Deidra Johnson of Ashland; great-uncles David Young and wife Misty of Ashland and Robert Schmauch and wife Katie of Greenup; and a host of other loving family members.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today, March 7, 2012, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Roger Pierce. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
