Eric Alan Conley, 30, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
He was born October 31, 1986, in Port St. Lucie, Florida, a son of Greg Alan Conley and Paula Decurgez Conley of Ashland.
Eric was a graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and Ashland Community College. He was of the Baptist faith and worked as a conductor for Norfolk & Southern Railroad. He loved riding motorcycles, traveling, UK sports, spending time with his family and making people laugh.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include a brother, Steven Anthony
Conley of Georgetown, KY; grandparents, Ronald Lee Conley Sr. and Rosemary Conley of Ashland, Vera and Michael Ison of Russell and Carlos Decurgez of Miami, FL; great grandmother, Mary Oliver Conley of Ashland; Uncles, Ronald (Mary Lou) Conley, Jr. of Georgetown, KY, and Carlos Decurgez of San Diego, CA; aunts, Belinda (Carl) Hunt and Cindy Conley (Brent) Jones of Ashland, Rebecca Ann (Art) Fischer of Bowling Green, KY, and Carla Decurgez of Miami, FL; special friend, Ashleigh Armstrong of Ashland; and a host of loving extended family members and dear friends.
A celebration of Eric's life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel with Pastor Mike Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
