Estle Wayne Bowen Jr., 41, of Ashland, Ky., died Friday, July 23, 2010, in King's Daughters Medical Center after a sudden illness.
He was born March 15, 1969, in Ironton, Ohio, to Estle W. and Kathy Griffith Bowen of Westwood.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Verna Evans Bowen of Ashland; two daughters, Kimberly Bowen of Ashland and Natasha Marcum; a son, Brandon Bowen of Catlettsburg; three brothers, Jeff, Kenny and Bill Bowen; a sister, Kathy Gambill; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Bowen.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
