Evelyn Abrams, 77, of Ashland, died Sept. 9, 2012, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born April 6, 1935, in Chillicothe, Ohio, a daughter of the late Kie Profit and Mary Short Profit.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Abrams Jr.; a brother, Seaburn Profit; and a great-grandson, Zachary Johnson.
She was a homemaker and a member of Fairview Holiness Mission.
Surviving are a son, Paul Eugene Abrams of Ashland; daughters Debbie Thomas and Noami Ruth Felty, both of Ashland, and Kim Johnson of Greenup; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul Profit of Ashland.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland by Pastor Jim Webster. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 11, 2012, at the funeral home.
