Frances K. Sexton (1913-2008)
Frances K. Sexton, 94, of Ashland, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility.
She was born June 5, 1913, in Roanoke, Va., the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie Stone Kesling. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herbert D. Sexton; two brothers, Harry Kesling and Charles Kesling; and a sister, Elizabeth Atkins.
Beloved survivors include two daughters, Donna Vecere of Roanoke and Sharon Dee Cundiff of Lynchburg, Va.; a sister, Marjorie Boggs Kemper of Ashland; a brother, Jack Kesling of Ashland; seven granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and church family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today, March 1, 2008, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland by Pastor Harold Moore. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
