He was born Jan. 9, 1950.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Adkins Bowens.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Neal Funeral Home in Catlettsburg. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
