Helen Davis Kinner, 89, of Catlettsburg, rests in the arms of her Savior after passing Monday evening, July 26, 2010, at her home.
Mrs. Kinner was born Nov. 10, 1920, in Rush, Ky., daughter of the late Paynter and Martha French Davis. Helen's husband, Hager Kinner, preceded her in death in 1998. She was a devoted wife and mother and a member of Oakland Avenue Baptist Church in Catlettsburg.
Helen leaves behind her daughter, Judy Craft of Ashland; her grandson, Tim Craft and wife Angela of Catlettsburg, with whom she resided; four great-grandchildren, Brian Craft, Jessica Craft, Shane Holbrook and Allison Thompson; two great-great-grandchildren, Joshua Xavier Holbrook and Lilly Cheri Holbrook; and a sister, Bette Greene Henderson of Ashland.
She was also preceded by death by her daughter, Patsy Kinner, in 2001; a granddaughter, Cheri Craft, brothers George Davis, Bill Davis, Jack W. Davis and Hubert Davis; and sisters Sophia Martt, Emma Ison, Pauline Fisher and Donna Davis.
Services for Mrs. Kinner will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2010, at the Neal Funeral Home on Center Street in Catlettsburg. Brother Phil Richardson will bring a message of comfort. Final rest will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
