Kathy Jo Grubb-Clay, 53, of Flatwoods, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 15, 1958, in Ashland to the late Phillip Grubb and Donna Bravden Grubb.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Justin Clay; brother, Herbie Grubb; sister, Debra Grubb Balock; and ex-husband, Robert Taylor Clay.
She is survived by one son, Robert Christopher (Amanda) Clay; four grandchildren, Austin Blake Clay, Mrianda Lynn Jones, Justin Taylor Clay and Marshall Tyler Clay; and one sister, Colen (Randy) Dalton.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland with Pastor Kevin Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
Friends may call one hour before services Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at the funeral home.
