Lillie Fetters (1943-2009)
Lillie Fetters, 65, of Raceland, Ky., went to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Mrs. Fetters was born March 15, 1943, in Lewis County, Ky., a daughter of the late Pearl and Ellie May Kennedy Himes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Delphin Fetters; one daughter, Mary Fetters; one son, Delphin "Red" Fetters; her stepfather, Will Maddox; one sister; and four brothers.
She was a former cook and cashier for the Russell YMCA and a member of the Greenup County Quilting Club.
Surviving are one daughter, Kim (James) Brown of Lancaster, Ohio; two sons, Mitch (Connie) Fetters of Worthington, Ky., and Darrell (Debbie) Fetters of Raceland; two sisters; four brothers; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at the Evans Funeral Home in Raceland by the Rev. Roger Bonzo and the Rev. Phillip Stephens. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland, Ky.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
