ASHLAND - Margaret Jean Griffith Cline, 77, of Ashland, died Thursday, April 22, 2010.
She was born Dec. 7, 1932, in Ashland, Ky., the daughter of the late Okie L. Griffith Sr. and the late Nancy Gussler Griffith.
She was a retired licensed practical nurse, a faithful servant of Christ, a devoted mother and beloved by all. Her passions in life included doing for others, the Kyova Gospel Sing, her cherished church, Central Baptist and particularly doing things for children.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Warren Cline and her brother, Okie L. (Norma) Griffith Jr.
She is survived by her stepsons, John Warren Cline II of Huntington, W.Va., and Joe Cline of Georgia; her sister-in-law, Norma Griffith of Ashland; two nephews, Lee D. Griffith of Chillicothe, Ohio, and John Steven (Rebecca) Griffith of Raceland, Ky.; one grandnephew; and three grandnieces.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2010, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland with Pastor Darrell L. Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
