Phyllis J. Hall, age 69, Arcadia, Fl., passed away October 1, 2009 in Arcadia, Fl. She was born in Ashland, KY, September 20, 1940, moving to Arcadia 26 years ago from Ashland. Phyllis was the manager of Family Dollar store here in Arcadia for 6 years. She enjoyed working. She enjoyed cooking for her family and making sure they were comfortable. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Eagles Club and of the Baptist faith. Survivors are her beloved husband, Bobby Joe Hall, Arcadia, Fl. two sons; Michael Hall, Lakeland, Fl. and Ernest Hall, Arcadia, Fl., two daughters; Debra (Harold) Foster, and Linda Hall both of Arcadia, Fl. a brother; Albert (Gail) Smith, Ashland, KY, two sisters; Janelle "Sissy" (Pete) Ross, Ashland, and Janet (Richard) Henderson, Greenup, KY, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Phyllis is preceded in death by a son Bobby Joe Hall, Jr., a brother Ernest Smith and a sister Barbara Copley. Visitation and funeral services will from 4:00PM until 7:00PM October 3, 2009 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home Chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, Fl. 34266
