Willis Eugene Cine, 70, of Ironton, formerly of Flatwoods, Ky., died Monday, April 4, 2011 in King's Daughters Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 21, 1940, in Boyd County, Ky., the son of the late John J. and Goldie Puckett Cline.
He was a former meat cutter at Foodfair Grocery Story, a Kentucky colonel, and a former auxiliary policeman for the cities of Flatwoods and Ashland, Ky.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Cline; a son, Robert G. Cline; and three brothers, Junior Lee Cline, Edward Cline and John F. Cline.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Sue Cook, Patricia Cline and Diana Gail Cline, all of Ashland; one son, Willis Dwayne Cline of Ashland; three sisters, Phyllis Payne of Summit, Ky., Sue Newsome of Louisville, Ky., and Maggie Messer of Columbus, Ohio; four brothers, Paul Cline of Lexington, Ky., Charles Cline of Ashland, James Ray Cline of Flatwoods and Billy Ray Cline of Summit; stepmother, Vennie Cline of Columbus; his caregiver, Brenda Childers of Ironton; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2011 at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland by Pastor Todd Warner. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
